October 22, 2005: Dennis poses with his ladies before a hard fought battle at Kinnick ends with Jerome Jackson punching it in for an overtime win. Michigan wins 23-20, ending the Hawkeyes 22 game home win streak. This was a great weekend that started with a layover in the Quad cities, Chinese food eaten on a garbage can, a full tailgate in the parking lot of Alcoholics Anonymous, and the away seats for Michigan in the 5th row where we wreaked havoc on the home crowd with an arrogant amount of trash talking considering the score. September 17, 2005: In honor of this weekend’s return of Fry Daddy Frank, here’s a couple of fellas that looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at the start of the tailgate, but sometimes you just need a nap before your team unloads on a directional school.

Way Back When-sday was the Best Tailgate Ever!

October 15, 2005: Michigan went 54 yards in 37 seconds, culminating with a now famous “TOUCHDOWN MANNINGHAM” as time expired, and Michigan beat Penn State 27-25, their 7th in a row over the Nittany Lions and part of a 10 year run (1997-2007) with 9 straight wins. Led by Captain Michigan, we declared it “The Best Tailgate Ever” and thus began a several year run of blasting the Joe Esposito classic Karate Kid hit as often as possible. Way Back When-sday Opened the Season With NIU 16(!) Years Ago

September 3, 2005 - Bubba and Stephen hit 100 straight home-and-away Michigan games as Michigan opened the season with their first ever contest against NIU. Chad Henne threw for 239 yards and 2 TDs, while Coach Mike Hart added 117 yards and a TD on the ground helping #4 Michigan beat the Huskies 33-17. Michigan will play the Huskies for only the second time ever on Saturday at noon. Full flashback game page is here.
