I hope you are all doing well.
Knowing what we know now, I wish we would have blown it out a little more, held that last hug a little longer, had one more shot of bourbon. Man, I hope to see you all in the fall.
In the interim, I’ve got several games and tailgate pictures from the last third of the season that went unpublished, so I’m going to put those out over the next week or so. Hope you enjoy the memories.
November 10, 2007: Looks like a road tailgate! Mike Hart was injured, Mallet had to come in for Chad, and an 8-game winning streak came to an abrupt end at the hands of the Badgers. Full game page and photos are here.
I owe it to myself to tell you that if you're taking the whole tribe cross-country, the Wagon Queen Family Truckster is the way to go. You think you hate it now, but just wait until you drive it.
March 15, 2009: The doors to Crisler Arena were open for a Selection Sunday that ended an 11-year NCAA Tournament drought for the Michigan Basketball team. The 10th seeded Wolverines with a record of 20-13 headed to Kansas City and would go on to defeat Clemson before falling to Elite 8 bound Oklahoma in the 2nd round. North Carolina defeated Michigan State in the NCAA Finals that year at Ford Field. Michigan State has not returned to the final game since.
